Topeka, Kansas: J. H. Bennet, State Printer, 1862. First Edition . Full Leather. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo. 1116 pages, indexed, though lacking last leaf (pages 1115/1116 of index and blank rear end leaf. Leather covers are heavily rubbed and scuffed, and there is chipping at spine ends. Covers remain attached only by binding threads and are essentially detached. Spine labels are rubbed, though gilt lettering remains legible. Scattered foxing. Light moisture stains on edge. Good working copy or adequate binding copy.
