New York, NY: J.C. Derby & N.C. Miller, 1864. Book. VG Minus. Cloth. 1st Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Brown embossed cloth boards with faded gilt lettering/ design to the spine.469 pp. plus 40 pp appendix and 6 pp. of ads at rear. This copy is VG minus. Illustrated. Frontispiece with tissue guard . Exterior is rubbed, gilt barely visible, tips and spine ends worn. Minimal soiling. Inside has yellow EPs. Neat PO signature in pencil on FEP with December 25, 1864 date. Unmarked, very modest toning, but binding is "broken" at page 362. Pages all still intact. .
