London: Nelson, 1921. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Nelson Library edition 1921. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards clean, with a couple of bumped corners.Spine gilt slightly faded. Text block clean, with dusty top edge, Feels lightly read. Minor bump to head and foot of spine, minor browning to end papers and contemporary owners stamp to front pastedown overall very good condition. No Jacket. This copy is not ex-lib, not priced clipped and has no inscriptions. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very solid example of this title covering the Garibaldian revolution between 1849-1860.
