Charlemont, MA: Bulletin Of Concerned Asian Scholars, 1986. 4-page article in a 72-page journal. John W. "Bill" Powell was China-born San Francisco resident who was tried for sedition in 1959 for publishing allegations of US germ warfare in Korea. Gives a brief history, with B&W photos, of Japanese experimentation on human subjects during WWII, and lists diseases prevalent in Korea which may descend from these experiements. (Powell argues elsewhere that it was US germ warfare based on Japanese know-how that reintroduced these pathogens). Other contents of the journal include articles on Taiwanese opposition to the KMT, student protests at Beijing UNiversity, and the plight of children at Nagasaki after the atomic bombing.
