New York: Edward J. Clode, 1930. Book. Poor to Fair. Hardcover. Edition Unstated. Octavo. NOTE: USA ED. Edition/printing not indicated, as usual with Clode publications, this being a possible first American edition from 1930, after the 1928 UK edition. This one is bound in maroon-red cloth with gold title lettering. Other printings had a brown boards cover. Presents a basically Good reading copy of this rare book, though the covers are heavily worn. The cloth is frayed and worn at the upper and lower edges and corners. The page paper shows moderate aging, some wear at corners, half-clipped back free endpaper; one page with a short tear and small chip in the fore-edge area margin only. No dust jacket..
