On world which appears to be old earth – complete with Charlemagne in power and pagan gods not only visible but very active, an investigator, immune to hypnotic suggestion and delusions, finds himself in the world that wasn't an illusion, but, was reality? translated from the French by Wendayne Ackerman. Creasing to the book corners and reading creases to the backstrip. A little chipping along the top book edge with fading of the backstrip.
