The author quit a successful selling career to follow his avocation of a dedicated interest in sport with rod and gun. A big game hunter with trophies of all major species as evidence of his skill with rifle and shotgun, his first book "Hunting and Fishing in North America" was a best seller in its field and was chosen "Sports-man's Book-of-the-Month." Mike Cramond has taken most of the species of big game fish of the south Pacific and Atlantic oceans, but he knows and loves best his-home waters of the Northwest.
