London: Hutchinson & Co, 1907. First Edition. Good. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. Harry Furniss. A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy. Bound in publisher's original red cloth, with gilt lettering and gilt and black illustration to cover and spine. The cover features a lovely illustration by Harry Furniss of "Gamble brushing down the salmon." Frontispiece is titled "Gamble, King of Wales." Fading to the covers and spine, some sunning to spine, moderate wear to both, bumping to, light scuffing of spine head and foot, half-toning and sunning to rear panel, some light soiling here and there, moderate foxing throughout. A lovely exemplar of Judge Parry's children's adventures. viii [1], 3-248 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
