Edinburgh: Co-operative Printing Co. 1886. xlviii, 436pp, errata slip, frontis & 2 other plates (all with tissue guards), numerous text illustrations, folding map. Original blue-green cloth with printed illustration on the upper board; spine dulled and quite rubbed at head and tail and along the joints. The endpapers are cracking at the gutter but binding solid, bookplate on front paste-down with another owner's name stamp on it, and his name written on the title-page. Edges yellowed but clean inside. A good copy. .
