Edinburgh and London: Oliver and Boyd. 1961 First edition. Argues that even the "humblest sort of old buildings" are good candidates for restoration/reconstruction, rather than for demolition and that at a reasonable cost they can "be made into the most comfortable of homes, suited in every way to our modern pattern of living, while yet preserving their character and individuality". Green cloth with gold gilt spine lettering, 151 pages, illustrated, subject index.

A very good to near fine copy with light bumping to the spine heel, minor wear in a very good dust jacket with a 3/4" x 1.25" rubbed spot near the center of the rear panel, very short tears to the spine corners plus a few edge nicks. See Photos
