Richard Taylor, London, 1832, pp. 12. Offprint from the Philosophical Magazine and Annals, 1832. Original wrappers, rather rubbed and dusty and separated from the stitching, but still in sound condition. Front wrapper with inscription from the author to Jas Heywood and by him given to B. H. Bright. Henry was a prominent chemist and doctor in Manchester, and developed Henry's Law relating to the absorption of gases by water. He shot himself in 1836 in Pendlebury.
