Tokyo: せりか書房 Sekari Shobō, 1980. Hardcover. 419 pg. hardcover in dust jacket. Japanese translation. Very good condition. 5 entries in OCLC, none in the US. Mikhail Bakhtin was a Russian philosopher and literary critic who is credited with introducing the concept of dialogism. He was arrested by the Soviet secret police due to his association with Vorskresenie and exiled to Kazakhstan, but returned to Moscow in 1940. He submitted his dissertation of François Rabelais, which became a classic of renaissance studies.
