Halae propter Salam: Apud Io. Gottl. Bierwirth, 1747. Hardcover. Two volumes bound in one. [7], 8-78; [3], 478pp. Contemporary full speckled calf, spine with five raised bands and compartments decorated with floral motifs, marbled endpapers. Amoenitates academicae was printed in 1752 in Amsterdam by J. Wetstenium and includes four engraved foldout plates and one in-text illustration. With the bookplate of noted malacologist Paul Maurice Pallary on the front pastedown endpaper. Later bookplate on the front free endpaper. Front joint partially split, wear to extremities, previous owners' names on title, light scattered foxing, small loss to spine ends. A good+ copy. Bradley I, p. 254. Pritzel 5405. ; Octavo.
