Pilar Fox y Fox is not only an archivist but a major historian, not just on the history of women in the Catholic tradition of Mexico but it has significance for all of Latin America. The first 400 pages give historical context to the archival descriptions. The author was able to complete this item just a year before she died and in so doing made the major contribution to the first religious order dedicated to female education. A fine copy bound in beige linen lettered in dark brown, spine lettering brown, in fine dust jacket.
