Rudenko’s landmark study of the frozen barrow digs at Pazyryk undertaken by Gryaznov in 1929, and by the author himself from 1947-1949. Text in English. First publication in any translation since the original Russian edition of 1953. A monumental work, with 33 color plates, 147 b&w plates, and 146 in-text illustrations. Very Good Plus, in a Very Good Plus dust jacket that has a 3/4" closed edge tear, not affecting titles or graphics.
