Cloth and printed papercovered boards with printed cover label, pages with foredges and bottom edges untrimmed. Binding worn and stained, edges modestly foxed, sound but good only. Orage was a noted British socialist and modernist, perhaps best known as the editor of *The New Age* before WWI.

Chicago: A.C. McClurg & Co, 1911. Hardcover. Small 8vo. White cloth spine with paper label and beige paper over boards with paper label. 83pp. Frontispiece. Very good. Binding edgeworn, rubbed and lightly soiled, with archivally mended tear to leaf 30-31, else internally bright and near fine. A tight and nice apparent first U.S. edition of the first book (published in England in 1906) by this English intellectual, socialist, writer and editor (1873-1934). Quite uncommon.
