About This Item

New York: Harper and Row, 1982. First printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/near fine. All first editions in dust jackets, Freaky Friday in two dust jackets, one with no copy on the jacket flaps (very good with some foxing and spottiness) and the regular one (with copy on the flaps, very good with light wear); A Billion for Boris, near fine in jacket, inscribed: "Dear Ruth, at least this will save you a trip to the skin doctor's! Love, Mary." Summer Switch in fine dust jacket, inscribed to playwright Lanford Wilson "with admiration and love" and with Wilson's namestamp. Wilson and Rodgers undoubtedly crossed paths in their Broadway careers (Wilson wrote the score to "Once Upon a Mattress" and Mary was the daughter of Richard Rodgers). Handsome set of the trilogy, with classic Gorey illustrated jackets.
