The title page includes the engraved printer's device of Iacobus (Giacomo) Giunta, heir of the Florentine family of printers, who founded a printing house at Lyon under their name. Recent three quarter calf over marbled boards. Folio, 277 leaves. Minor insect damage in margins of a few leaves. Old dampstain in margins of about the second two third of the text block. Binding in very good condition. Divo's translation of the Iliad is uncommon at best. (Subject: Medieval, Early Printed Books & Cartography.)
