Very Good Condition/Very Good. 1.6 kg.; XIII, 14-1056 pages, last four pages blank, intentionally, introduction, Forsyth family tree. Illustrated endpapers being the author's name in light brown titles against a dark brown background repeated many times. Maroon coloured imitation red leather boards with gilt illustration to the front panel and gilt titles to the front panel and backstrip. Plain text dustwrapper, with dark brown and gold background with gold and white titles to the front panel and backstrip. Black-and-white photograph of the author to the rear dustwrapper the panel. An omnibus edition of the first three of the "Forsyth Saga" books and three other novels from John Galsworthy. . The book shows no damage apart from a small brown stain at the bottom edge of the back of the front end page and the half title page where a silver fish died, and the dustjacket is only very slightly rubbed across the top edge. Synopsis
The Forsyte Saga is a series of three novels and two interludes published between 1906 and 1921 by John Galsworthy. They chronicle the vicissitudes of the leading members of an upper-middle-class British family. Only a few generations removed from their farmer ancestors, the family members are keenly aware of their status as "new money".
