The text block head edge is stained a matching blue as issued. Illustrated end papers in a blueprint style. Profusely illustrated with 142 photographs and drawings. Five page glossary at the back. The interior is very clean and the binding is solid. Mild shelf wear to the board corners and spine tips with a patch on the front board where the sizing or coating on the cloth has lost its shine, most noticeable in reflected light. .
