About This Item

Very Good +; very slight fading of spine, slight mark on front board.

Anastatic reproduction of the 1891 St. Petersburg edition, with the text in Greek, the introduction in Russian. Volume I was the only one published. Bears bookplate of K.M. Setton (1914-1995) of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton.

Ottoman Greek (later Russian) scholar Athanasios Papadopoulos-Kerameus (1856–1912) edited John Lazaropoulos's late 14th-century Synopsis of the life and miracles of St. Eugenios of Trabizond, which includes his presence at the 1224 siege of Trabizond.
