Presumed first ed.; 657 p., clean and unmarked anywhere on strong paper mildly age-toned; front gutter cracked and half t.p is detached and crumpled; ill. by Wallace Morgan; in absence of d.j. the red boards are sunned and gilt lettering is tarnished; spots on spine; corners bumped and there is some rubbing at crown and foot of spine. Because of its content this volume deserves rebinding and probably its value would increase greatly.
