First Edition. 8vo. 267 pp. Personalized inscription by Phil Jenkins and Ken Ginn. Blue boards lettered in yellow on the spine; headband; illustrated with photographs, mostly in colour. Light rubbing at the corners of the dustjacket with a small chip from the head of the spine; price intact; aside from the signatures, no interior markings. In a year of drought and disastrous harvests, Phil Jenkins and Ken Ginn set out in a blue Dodge van to find the easternmost farm in Canada and to drive through all the intervening fields to the westernmost farm, talking to family farmers as they went. Fields of Vision is the story of that journey, in Jenkins words and Ginn's photographs. It is a rare portrait of the people who grow so much of the food we eat....
