Size quarto, 164 plus 3 double page maps of Lincolnshire and 1 of Cambridgeshire. Publisher's original green cloth covered boards with black cloth spine section, large gilt titles to front cover and gilt titles to the spine. Condition very good, corners and spine ends a little rubbed, outer edges of front cover sunned, previous owner's name to front end-paper, spots to first and last few pages, a few faint spots mainly to margins of the pages and plates. With 48 drawings by Henry Rushbury, R.A., mainly reproductions of sketches, with a few full coloured plates.
