About This Item

London: Vermillion, 1997. The book is signed by author (first name only) and inscribed inside front cover. Also included is a handwritten, personal note on the author's stationary, also signed with first name only. It is 5 x 4 inches in size. The book is a First Thus with full numberline (not the first edition of this book), probably the first UK trade paperback. The handwritten note further references this. The top, right corner of the note has edgewear. Both the note and front cover have impressions from a (now gone) paperclip. The book is an 8vo size trade paperback; 248 pages From back: "Ground-breaking, radical and sympathetic, this book challenges assumptions about men as fathers, revealing that parenting behavior is shaped less by biology than by social conditioning. Men's fathering instincts, strong and innate, are often sabotaged by cultural and social expectations." Wear, including creasing to covers. Pages are toned with tanned margins. Thanks for shopping with us. 100% of your purchase benefits charity and supports literacy and life-long learning.. Signed by Author. First Thus. Trade Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
