Illustrated with four full page color drawings and additional sepia drawings. A book for the very young, the tale of two children traveling alone on their first train trip, going to visit their aunt during vacation. Generally very good, some light creasing to the cover and a 1922 childish ownership signature top edge of the inside front cover. Very uncommon.

Chicago: M.A. Donohue & Co, 1911. Bound in pictorial wraps. First Edition. Folio. Unpaginated. Profusely illustrated with chromolithography. VERY GOOD. Shows a marginally chipped spine, binding has been neatly repaired with acid free re-inforcement, 3 or 4mm of the textblock has been chipped at the top rightmost corner of the margin not obstructing text or illustration, the occasional light crease, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text and illustrations are clean and unmarked, and the covers are bright and colorful. As pictured.
