Complete and clean. weakening at front inner hinge and with some loss to spine. bout overall the brown cloth binding is in remarkably good condition. given that this copy is nearly two centuries old. No markings to the text. or foxing.Creasing to the corners of pp13 to 43. On the title page. beneath the name of the author. and presumably in the hand of the dedicatee are the words: "now Sir George Nicholls K.C. B." . Fair. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1844.
