Written in Russian and English. "The two volume set is concerned with the porcelain of the A.M. Miklashevsky factory, one of the largest enterprises in the pre-Revolutionary Ukraine, operating from 1838 to 1861 in the village of Volokitino, Chernigov Region. The project is unique culturally and scientifically in that Volokitino porcelain is for the first time presented in its diversity as a cultural phenomenon- The Albums compromises about 500 illustrations from the Russian, Ukrainian and foreign private collections. The first volume includes the album which consists with 4 parts characterizing the main production of Miklashevsky factory. Each part is accompanied by a corresponding article. Volume II contains an illustrated catalogue with comments, information of the system of signatures (marks) of the Volokitino factory, and a brief article on collections of the Russian porcelain, in particular, Miklashevsky factory products."
