Main pages divided horizontally to mix and match pictures. Clean pages and illustrations with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. Binding remains firm. Paper covers have moderate edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and curling to corners. Moderate scuffing to edges and corners. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.

Very good in boards lightly rubbed over the edges, with the back joint taped and some offsetting to the title-page from the front flap. A split-page commentary on the progression of fashion, enabling the reader to create a wide variety of comic mismatches (for example, Adam and Eve's top halves with the bottom halves of an Elizabethan couple).

Illustrated board, pages split horizontally to create multiple images, color illustrations throughout, cover states "patent applied for No. 24053/45" and "may we divide your attention for a moment?" Humorous look at fashion, the book consists of images of dress over time and simple verses, the page is then split in two and the reader can mix and match the top and bottom of outfits with verses. 8 1/4" x 11" wear on cover, some toning.

Illustrated paper covered boards in good condition with some chipping to tips, edges and spine. Inside in very good clean condition although the pages are a little aged and middle bottom page is detached. A charming little novelty from the 40's...such fun!
