Signing reads, 'Autographed/with best wishes/by the Author./Katie Whitelegg/31 VIII 1960'. Illustrated with a photograph frontispiece. Blurb on d/w front flap reads, 'This is no ordinary travel book, neither is it a book on religion, nor a treatise on Positive Thinking; but it is an original combination of them all, showing the interplay of one on the other'. The book is the autobiography of Katie Whitelegg and how she coped with the deaths of her son and husband: and, her travels through Africa, including Rhodesia, in the 1950s. A very good copy, in a very good d/w, of a SCARCE first edition SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
