Very good. Faintest of edgewear. Superbly tight and quite attractive later printing of the third title in this 6-volume juvenile series published between 1912 and 1917, internally fine. Copyright page lists up through fifth title ("Fairview Boys at Lighthouse Cove," 1914), thus approximately dating this handsome copy. Charming front board graphic shows a boy full-length in Boy Scout-type uniform complete with bandana, knapsack and walking stick, with scenes of cooking around a campfire, mountain hiking and launching sailboats off a beach in the background -- most quaint. Uncommon and a lovely copy.
