About This Item

London: Eyre & Spottiswoode and C. J. Clay and Sons, 1891. Hardcover. Very Good. 564 p. Rebound in full cloth with spine and cover material saved. Bookplate at front. Foxing on endpapers. Pages untrimmed.

This particular volume comes from the library of Sir Archibald Hamilton Dunbar, Baronet of Northfield, Justice of the Peace and Captain of H. M. 66th regiment of the 8th battalion. This facsimile is of the revised manuscript of 1636. One note of curiosity is that the page numbering does not count blank pages. Thus, when one blank page is skipped, such as after p. 44, which side of the leaf is even or odd switches, a result of its nature as a manuscript.
