(Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix, 2001). Cloth Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Quarto. This is number 16 of an estimated 25 copies printed in hardcover. 64p. While rare in paper, this is one of the few issues that appeared in hardcover. It is inscribed: "with many thanks for making this catalog possible plus--good memories of other catalogs you helped produce", to art director of Phoenix Public Library. One of the most influential African-American artists his work has been displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Library of Congress and the Phoenix Art Museum. He taught at a Arizona State University and formed the Consortium of Black Organizations for the Arts. A fine copy bound in black cloth, spine blank, in near fine pictorial dust jacket.
