About This Item

Bernhard Tauchnitz. Leipzig. 1879. FIRST TAUCHNITZ EDITION. Small 8vo. (6.2 x 4.7 inches). Very good copy in early half red pebble grain Morocco, spines with raised bands, ruled in blind and lettered in gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Marbled endpapers. All edges marbled. Neat previous owners name to title page and bookplate to front paste down endpaper. Some very minor rubbing to edges but overall a very good bright copy.
