Illustrator: Photographic. a look at Australia's Explorers. the dustjacket is slightly faded on the spine, has split at the lower right and left of the front panel, and rubbing with short tears across the top edge. There is no damage to describe or the binding apart from the usual browning of the page edges. The book contains double page in the page maps, reproductions of drawings and photographs, and small maps. In this book the author deals briefly with events leading to the discovery of Australia then relates in graphic detail the heroism, trams and sufferings of the explorers who blazed the trail across the great subcontinent and laid it open for settlement. – The author also devote some chapters to the adventures and perils of the settlers, Overlanders, and gold fossickers who played an important part in opening up the nearly 3,000,000 square miles of Australia.
