About This Item

Toronto: Longmans, Green & Co., 1960. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is a stated first edition. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with no marks or wear. The beige covers are fresh, with just a bit of light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is not clipped, and is also in very good condition, again with light wear. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover and looks very attractive. Synopsis: This is the biography of Elijah Woodman, who was sentenced to transportation to Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania, in Australia) for his participation in the 1836 Rebellion.
