Cannes: Cercle nautique, 1927. Limited Edition. Card Covers. Fine-. One of 200 unnumbered large-paper copies on pure Madagascar Lafuma paper, not signed on colophon. Tall, slim 8vo (248 x 188mm): [6],34,[8]pp, including eight tipped in partly colored reproductions on separate leaves of Picabia's paintings (mainly from the Spanish series) and autograph letter in facsimile. Text in French. Larger in format than the ordinary issue and printed on finer paper, unbound leaves inserted into original vertically ribbed greige card covers lettered in burgundy within gilded centerpiece. A well-preserved example, about Fine, with occasional, scattered foxing. Reynolds AI 110. Catalog of the exhibition of the Collection de Jacques Doucet at the Cercle nautique de Cannes, held from January 28 to February 7, 1927, and organized by Emile Fabre. N. B.
