About This Item
Great Britain: Chambers, 1957. Book. Illus. by D Brook. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. An excellent copy of this book which is difficult to find in Hardcover , more so with dustwrapper! The Dustjacket is price clipped and has a few minute nicks at the corners/spine (See scan) and is very slightly rumpled at the spine probably from (spine) being damp at some time. Back flap (blank) displays foxing. The leading edges of the jacket display no wear! The book is also in excellent condition with foxing to the endpapers and the edges of the first few leaves. The book is uninscribed and interior pages are clean. Brook's black & white plate present as required. Boards display some very light spotting suggesting storage in a moist environment at some time. A superior copy of a scarce 1st edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
