A very good clean copy. *** A humorous promotional booklet produced by Moss Bros of Covent Garden ('Naval, Military, RAF, General Outfitters and Saddlers'). A loosely inserted letter, dated 23 October 1946, explains to the recipient that the booklet was 'planned to reach you around September 1939; but by then you were occupied with matters of more urgency, so it was set aside for a more convenient time', going on to make reference to the post-war shortage of clothing stock and apologising for the 'rather lavish appearance' of the booklet due to it having been printed 'before there were such things as paper restrictions'. .
