Internally there are small marks left by the removal of a dustjacket cover to endpapers else very clean, tight and unmarked. A Very Good copy. Dustjacket is also VG and has a little wear to spine tail, some marks to the reverse left by the removal of a dustjacket protector and is not price clipped. A well kept copy. Canon Heaton of Salisbury Cathedral gives a comprehensive panorama of Israelite life, as ordinary families knew it, from about 1250 to 586 BC covering civil, country, home, religious, military and professional life. Free from jargon with illustrations by Marjorie Quennell and also many pages of photographs, reconstructions of its cities and buildings and articles in everyday use. R1. First Edition. Cloth.
