The author again ranges far and wide in this book of essays, from George Orwell, the Sydney Olympics, Mark Twain, Hamlet and the monarchy to name but a few. Rubbing of the book edges and panels. The white coloured background has become a little yellowed. Some black marks to the book panels and there is a little fading of the backstrip. Remnants of a sticker, or more specifically sticker removal, can be seen to the lower edge of the rear panel. Tanning of the textblock edges and to the pages. Reading crease to the backstrip.
