About This Item

[San Francisco]: Ethsix* / National Association of Social Workers, 2006. Paperback. 48p., 11x8.5 inches oblong, illustrations, color and b&w photos, poetry, social commentary, oral history, small stain on front corner, else very good condition in original pictorial wraps. High-level artwork by Bay Area social-workers; the title is explained as "*The sixth code of ethics (eth-six) from the National Association of Social Workers is the responsibility to advocate on behalf of socal justice." Frontis photo is a portrait of San Francisco's own Swann, ex-engineer and extreme burn-out, who still looks as he does here (pictured so often, he must deliberately cultivate this persona), still feeds pigeons, is always alone.
