The top and bottom edges of the binding have flecked slightly, and be previous owner's name is on the title page. the price clipped dustjacket is very slightly rubbed at the bottom tips of the fold overs, and at the top and bottom of the spine section. The protective clear coating has started to lift at the left-hand side of the front panel over the spine gutter. This is the 1st book devoted exclusively to English looking-glasses -- nowadays called mirrors -- and it deals with the subject between the 1617 1820.
