London: The Offices of Country Life, 1929. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. London, The Offices of Country Life, 1929 (second edition)/ 1922. Folio, lvi, 378, [1] (publisher's list) pages with 469 illustrations (almost all from photographs). Quarter buckram and cloth, all edges gilt; marbled endpapers; spine slightly sunned at the ends; corners and the front bottom edge a little bumped (with slight associated creasing to the corners of some leaves); overall, an excellent copy with the very good dustwrapper (a little worn and torn, with slight loss). A second volume dealing with more homes in this period was also published. Provenance: the prominent Adelaide architect Frank Kenneth Milne (1885-1980), with his early ownership signature (1936) on the front flyleaf.
