The Waverley Book Company Limited, London, 1911. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Three volumes complete. Half-morocco. Top edges gilt (agleam). Green cloth boards that have some few marks. Volume 1: The morocco leathers have wear about the edges and seams. They are benign. The spine has five ridges with titling on panels 2, 4, 5 (worn and faded). The spine has much wear. It is sturdy and sure. The boards have some marks. Within, the contents are bright and hale. They have occasional age marks. The early pages have wear about the binding edge. They are in general, clean, clear, confident most diligent. Volume II: a genial, benign copy. The morocco is healthier than with vol. 1. They have scuffing and some wear. Spine titling as with above. The spine has some wear to edges and seams, but is otherwise healthy. The contents are bright, fresh-faced, most contented. Volume III: A clubbable copy. The morocco corners and spine have wear to the edges and seams. They are otherwise sound. The spine has some scarring and wear. It is otherwise hearty. The contents are most pleasing. They are bright, very clean and clear, confident and very assured. Please note that due to the weight of the books, should they need be posted outside of South Africa, extra postal charges will be required. fk.
