Wear to the edges of the boards with bumping to the head and heel of the spine and some scuffing and spotting to the covers. One of the pictures of a medal of Pius II is loose but laid in. Some writing in the margins of the text. 123 pages with footnotes and index. A study in German of the legal thought of the fifteenth-century humanist, Aeneas Sylvius Piccolomini, who later became Pope Pius II.
