About This Item

Hutchinson of Australia, Richmond, Victoria, 1978. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Photographic. illustrated with 25 black-and-white photographs. Photographic illustrated dustjacket. The author gave an uninhibited account of his former boss Richard Nixon, of his character achievements. Despite his bitterness, he praises as well as criticises. Many of the men around Nixon were extraordinary personalities. The author describes them also, bluntly and with pleasing vein of ironic humour. Henry Kissinger is vividly portrayed. Very slight rubbing at the top of the rear fold over, and the publishers use of 2 different stocks is evident by the "sandwich appearance" on the edges of the text block.
