'At the End of the Passage', by Rudyard Kipling. 48mo - a miniature book, 3 7/8" tall; green and copper flexible leatherette boards, 92 pp. Very Good; about as good as the fragile Little Leather Library series generally survives, with no salient flaws other than the standard deep age-toning to the endpapers; contents are quite bright and un-toned, and the amount of copper-color remaining in the copper-and-green binding is quite goods (these little pieces often started out without much of the copper color). Zoom on scans. This is the Redcroft edition of the Little Leather Library series of promotional miniatures. All such versions from LLL would have been treated as ephemera at the time. Scarce now. 'At the End of the Passage' is a rather impacftul horror story or 'Victorian Ghost Story' first published in The Boston Herald in July, 1890. Nice condition, for this fragile series.
