F. E. Lepee. 12mo, 145 x 90 mm, 5¾ x 3½ inches, pages: [4], 36, 36, 36, 36, publisher's adverts on pages [3]-[4], original red roan backed marbled boards, gilt title to spine, each tale with a title page in French, a very attractive 3 panel folding copper engraved frontispiece (175 x 145 mm, 5¾ x 7 inches), and 2 plates. Only the first tale is dated: 1829. Spine slightly faded, tiny chip to tail of spine, corners slightly worn, armorial bookplate on front pastedown, faint offsetting on title pages, fore-edge of frontispieces to Tales 2 and 3 slightly browned, not affecting image, No. 2 has a vertical misfold, a few light fox spots to 1 margin, otherwise…
