1926. Original lithograph transfer on zinc. Image size: 33.97 x 40.48 cm. Sheet size: 39.37 x 50.8 cm. Paper toned otherwise in very good condition. Presented in a black ash box frame with conservation glass and mount. Gag was a celebrated children's book author and illustrator; this print was chosen as one of the fifty best prints of the year by the American Institute of Graphic Arts in 1926. It was later included in the 1968 Museum of Modern Art's exhibition entitled 'Manhattan Observed' along with other well-known artists such as Robert Rauchenberg, Edward Hopper and David Hockney.
